The regular season has just concluded, the playoff bracket is set, and we are ready for an exciting ride all the way to Super Bowl 59.
Before we dive in, make sure to leave your predictions in the comments below—I’d love to hear what you think. This year’s playoffs are shaping up to be the most entertaining and unpredictable we’ve had in years. With multiple teams securing 12 or more wins and tons of exciting matchups ahead, it’s anyone’s game. So, let’s jump right in!
Wild Card Round Predictions
NFC Wild Card:
- Vikings at Rams: As a Vikings fan, I’ll try to remain unbiased. The Vikings had a fantastic season, but this matchup is no walk in the park. While the Rams beat them earlier in the season, I’m predicting the Vikings to pull off an upset on the road.
- Commanders at Buccaneers: This is going to be an entertaining game. However, I believe Tampa Bay will prove why they’re a sneaky good team, overcoming Washington in this close matchup.
- Packers at Eagles: The Packers have struggled lately, and the Eagles are a strong force at home this season. My pick: Philadelphia takes this game.

AFC Wild Card:
- Chargers at Texans: The Chargers have been impressive, and the Texans failed to meet preseason expectations. I’m picking the Chargers to win on the road.
- Ravens at Steelers: Divisional matchups are always tough, but the Ravens have Lamar Jackson. Enough said—Baltimore advances.
- Broncos at Bills: The Broncos making the playoffs for the first time in nine years is exciting, but I don’t see them stopping Josh Allen and the Bills in this one. My pick: Buffalo moves on.
Divisional Round Predictions
NFC Divisional Round:
- Vikings at Lions: The Lions are coming off a historic 15-win season. As much as I’d love to pick the Vikings here, I think Detroit prevails in this divisional matchup.
- Buccaneers at Eagles: The Eagles are heavily favored, but Tampa Bay could surprise them. Still, I’m going with Philadelphia to reach the NFC Championship.
AFC Divisional Round:
- Chargers at Chiefs: As I’ve said before, I won’t bet against Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs until proven otherwise. Kansas City takes this one.
- Ravens at Bills: This will be a thrilling showdown between MVP candidates Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. Ultimately, I trust Buffalo to edge this one out and advance to the AFC Championship for the first time in three years.
Conference Championship Predictions
NFC Championship:
Lions vs. Eagles: Detroit’s fairytale season continues. The Lions make history, reaching their first-ever Super Bowl by beating the Eagles in a tightly contested game.
AFC Championship:
Chiefs vs. Bills: While the Bills might be the favorites, I can’t bet against Mahomes and the Chiefs. Kansas City heads to the Super Bowl for the fifth time in six years.
Super Bowl 59: Lions vs. Chiefs
This is a matchup of historic proportions—the Lions, seeking their first-ever Super Bowl victory, against the Chiefs, the established dynasty. Both teams have been phenomenal, and the contrast in experience makes this even more exciting.
I’ve said I wouldn’t bet against Mahomes, but it’s time to break that streak. I’m picking the Detroit Lions to win Super Bowl 59. This game could go either way, but the Lions’ Cinderella story would be a fitting end to the season.
