Summary
Trey Benson is an aggressive and explosive running back who is considered by some analysts to be the best in the class. He is well-built, not afraid of physical contact, and is rarely stopped on first contact. He has good long speed and is also a capable receiver. However, he lacks the agility to make defenders miss and is not a very good blocker. He also has a history of serious injuries, although he has played three seasons without any other health problems since his recovery. He could be a Day 2 pick in the draft.
