On Monday, US time, the Cardinals officially announced that Defensive end JJ Watt has signed a two-year contract with the team.

Watt is 31 years old and was fired by the Texans through his own request. Four days later, his former teammate DeAndre Hopkins expressed his solicitation on personal social media, and now the two have successfully reunited.
Cardinals defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, who served as a defensive guard coach for the Texans, is also an old acquaintance of Watt. The rushing new partner Chandler Jones cannot be underestimated. Since being selected in the first round in 2012, Jones has completed 97 sacks and ranked first in the same period. Watt completed 95.5 sacks during this time, ranking second.
